The three documents

A Peace of Mind Summary, a Blue Book and Essentials. All three examples below are fully filled in, so you can see exactly what you'd be printing, sharing, or keeping safe before you type a single word. Some answers are left blank on purpose: you can skip anything, and none of these is ever really finished — you simply update and print or share again as life changes.

Sam Hartley isn't real

Nor is his wife, his bank, his address or his dog — and the photographs are AI-generated, not pictures of real people. The documents below are genuine output from the app, printed from an iPhone and a Mac, but the life inside them is invented, and so is every name, number and date. The same documents come out of an iPad, or an Android phone or tablet.

Peace of Mind Summary

Free, always

Where everyone starts — it's the first thing the app opens on. A few quick questions first, about 3 minutes, then short chapters you can do in any order: about 15 minutes in total, and you can stop and carry on whenever you like. It's as much for you as for anyone else: knowing yourself where things are kept and who holds what, and knowing the people closest to you could find it all without you. The confidential pages come at the end — your own numbers, the executor, the bank — and you choose whether to include them each time you print or share.

Page one: Samuel Hartley's details, then five people with their roles and phone numbers, and Biscuit the dog beneath them with who walks him, his vet and his routine
Page 1 of 5
Page two: where eight key documents are kept, each in its own box, with the main bank beside them; and Sam's thoughts and wishes
Page 2 of 5
Page three, headed Confidential Details: identity, government numbers, the executor, next of kin and the will
