The Story Behind Blue Book

Blue Book was created after losing Mum early in 2026. She was wonderfully organised and left a box with key details — a start that put our paperwork to shame. On it, she had written: “Tatty box, but has things you’re looking for. Mum.” In those first few days, it saved us.

But while the practicalities were filed away, the things that truly defined her — what made her happy, what she was proud of, and how she wanted to be remembered — still lived only in conversation. Writing Mum's eulogy brought it home: everyone knew their version of her, but only she could really tell her own story.

Blue Book brings these two sides of life together: your Essentials, keeping practical details organised so you (and those closest to you) always know where things are, and your Blue Book, recording the stories and memories you’ll love looking back on today, and pass on whenever you choose.

We created this app in Mum's memory, and we want everyone to be able to use it. Downloading Your Blue Book, creating your Peace of Mind Summary, and filling in your story are free, and always will be. You can write at your own pace, on your own device, whenever you like.
